Phaser 300X Color Printer
General cleaning guide
Most common problems can be avoided or solved by cleaning the printer
regularly.
Problem type Description Solution
Paper-feed problems Frequent paper jams or
paper-pick problems
Clean the paper-pick rollers
Clean the feed rollers
Image quality problems Prints have streaks of ink Clean the paper tension blade
Prints have spots of ink
on the top of the print
Clean the paper clamp
Prints have spots of ink
on the back of the print
Clean the drum

on the blank part of the
page
Areas of the image are
